8 MEN OUT FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE RULES
1. Each Team pays $250.00 entry fee
All transaction fees should be paid 1 week before BBQ (second wildcard weekend).
Entry fee is due the day of the BBQ.
2. League Fees
Entry Fee = $250.00
Per Player(s) Pick-Up Fee = $2.00 starting bid
Per Team Trade Fee for each player(s) traded = $2.00 starting bid
Team Lineup Late fee = $ 3.00 (changes made after 12 a.m. Friday)
No Lineup Turned In = $5.00 fee, and you must the previous week’s lineup (EXCEPTION: If a Thursday Night player is not named before kickoff on Thursday night, that player cannot be used and none of their points will be counted, regardless of their presence on the previous week's lineup.)
Starting Week 11, No Lineup Turned In = $20
3. Big money payoffs are as followed
1st Place: 60 % of pot
2nd Place: 30 % of pot
3rd Place: 10 % of pot
4. League consist of ten (10) teams. Place of finish to be determined as follows.
Win-Loss record for a 17 game season.
Tiebreaker is Offense Win
2nd tiebreaker is total QB points
3rd tiebreaker is total RB points
5. Each Team will consist of:
15 Players
1 – Offensive Team (Weekly Tiebreaker)
1 – Defense/Special Teams
6. Each week every team will start:
1 – Quarterback
2 – Running Backs
2 – Receivers (TE count as WR)
1 – Flex Player (RB, WR, or TE only)
1 – Field Goal Kicker
1 – Offensive Team (Tiebreaker is a Win)
1 – Defensive Team/Special Teams
7. All transactions (trades, pick-ups, drops etc.) Must be given to the Commissioner Via:

8. Trades, Bidding and Pick-Ups:
Blind Bidding Procedure: Submit your desired players and a one-time bid to the Commissioner by 9:00 pm Tuesday night. Nobody will receive the blind bid results until Wednesday.
Waiver Wire Auction: Players who weren't claimed with blind bidding are available for normal text-based bidding until the usual deadline of 9pm Wednesday night. Finalized transactions must be finished before the Thursday night game
Player Drops: All players expected to be dropped to make room for pick-ups must be submitted through the website before kickoff of the Thursday night game. If a drop is not submitted, you may keep the picked-up player but they cannot be used until the start of the next week.
Owners must notify Commissioner of transactions for them to count that week.
Starting Week 10 and through the end of Week 12, trades can only happen between teams that are not mathematically eliminated from a Top 3 finish. After the completion of Week 12, no trades are allowed at all.
Starting in 2014, First Round Draft Picks can be traded, within the constraints of the rule above.
Defense and Offense are free pick-ups on when your original team is on a bye, and you must drop the free pick-up by next week’s deadline or get charged $2.00 pickup fee.
Players can be picked up and bid on until the last week of the season.
Free COVID pickup: If a player gets ruled out of a game due to COVID after the weekly trade deadline, a free agent may be picked up as a free rental for the week. That player automatically becomes a free agent again after the conclusion of that week.
9. PICK-UPS – Any player not on a team’s current roster is eligible.
10. Bidding Wars
A. Highest bid gets player(s) $2.00 minimum
B. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of each owner in the bidding war to let the Commissioner know what the results are.
12. Team lineups must be submitted to the Commissioner by Friday night 11:59 P.M.
Any changes made after 11:59 P.M. Friday will result in a late fee of $3.00
Changes to a team’s line-up can be made up to 9:59 A.M. Sunday before the first scheduled Kick-Off of any NFL game. You MUST notify the Commissioner and the other team owner of the change(s) for this to be acknowledged.($3.00) late fee
14. NFL games played on Thursday night:
A. Teams must submit only player(s) on those two teams being played that night before kick-off to the Commissioner and other team owner.
If a player or players are not named by kick-off, they are considered "benched" and their points will not count. Another player on the roster can still be used in their spot if turned in before the usual Friday deadline. If no lineup is turned in, the previous week's lineup must be used, but the Thursday night player's points will still not count and no substitute can be used.
16. ESPN, Yahoo, NFL, and Local Papers are official sources for statistics.
17. SCORING:
A player will get any points if they are listed in the paper as being involved in the play.
